A stop motion film about natural beauty in urban environments.
I was asked by National Trust to create a film that responded to their 'Blossom Together' project, where they are planting young blossom trees all around the city of Birmingham. The film was screened on the big screens during the Commonwealth games.
This was one of my favourite scenes to make, watch this space for the whole film being released soon.
As Birmingham is my hometown, I wanted to capture the identity of the city, which I did by interviewing a number of community groups.
Massive thanks to my friend and collaborator Jack Davies who helped me pull it all together, check his artwork here: www.jackdaviesart.com
Another big thanks to my other friend Nick Jonah Davies for letting me use his stunning music - www.nickjonahdavis.com
Special thanks to @ntmidlands and @outdoorplacesunusualspaces for making it happen!
